Who this is for
This app is for members of ILA 1416. Accounts are created by the union, not by signing yourself up.
Registering
The union sends you a registration link. You submit a photo of your check-on card, your mobile number and a PIN you choose. Submitting does not create an account. A member of union staff checks your card and decides; only then does your account exist.
Your registration link is private to you. Anyone who has it can register in your name and can see what you submitted, so do not forward it. If it reaches the wrong person, tell the union and they will replace it — which makes the old link stop working.
The union may reject a registration, ask you to send a clearer photo, replace your link, or remove an account.
Your PIN
Your PIN is your password. Anyone who has it, together with your union number or your mobile number, can sign in as you. Keep it to yourself, and tell the union if you think somebody else knows it.
The union cannot look up your PIN — it is stored in a form that cannot be read back. If you forget it, "Forgot pin?" issues a new one and texts it to you, and your old PIN stops working.
Your check-on card
The photo of your card is how the union verifies your membership and your seniority. It must be your own current card. The union may ask for a new photo if the card expires or cannot be read.
The chase list
Your position on the chase list is decided by the union's own rules — status, then seniority, then the time you joined the list. The app shows that order; it does not set it. Questions about seniority go to the union hall.

Availability
The union provides the app as it is, and cannot guarantee it will always be available or free of faults. It is a convenience for members, not a substitute for contacting the hall.
